Palo Duro Fly-In 2016 Wayside, Texas

Wow! This is a short video of the Palo Duro Canyon Texas Fly-In held in Wayside Texas by the (B.A.R.F) Club. (Bay Area Recreational Flyers). Thanks to the club we were able to camp with them along the rim of the Canyon, the second largest Canyon in the USA, other then the Grand Canyon and tag along with them through four states flying in some of the most beautiful country I have ever seen. Unfortunately mother nature didn’t quite corporate with us. The winds were way to high to fly safely as you can see in the video so we left Texas for New Mexico, then onto Arizona and then into Utah. Had some of the best times ever, meeting some of the club members and flying with them in all the different areas and can’t leave out the eating, and I’m talking about EATING. These people know they can cook up some good grub. My bride and I would like to say special thanks to everyone in the group for letting us tag along for such a memorable trip of a life time and now we’re Proud Members of the B.A.R.F Club.

Red Rock Canyon State Park Hinton, Oklahoma

Beautiful Canyon Park surrounded by Red Rock Walls. Very clean, relaxing and quiet. The road down into the canyon is a little steep and very winding but we had no problem with our forty two ft. fifth wheel. I don’t know if I would try it in winter conditions though.

Bicycle Tour Of Beautiful Woolly Hollow State Park. Greenbrier, Arkansas

Nice campground with a lake and beach. Boating, kayaking, fishing,  swimming  etc…. Very clean with large lots and very nice staff. We enjoyed our stay, we would definitely stay there again.

Daisy State Park, Kirby, AR

Stayed 3 days at the Beautiful Daisy State Park in Kirby Arkansas. Had a blast, very beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely stay there again.

34.807957-101.570408 or 34.808134-101.583287

It is one of these two spots. I can’t remember which field exactly, but you will see campers there.

Thanks Jeff. I was just going to tell Gerry that there are very few landmarks, and that we meet in a field outside of Wayside. The coordinates are probably better. Thanks

Lowanslow.com, Thanks Carolyn Wilson and Jeff Wood, my bride and I definitely plan on meeting up with you guys at the beginning at Wayside TX. See you there:)
