Vogel State Park, Blairsville, Georgia
Video of a beautiful State Park at the base of Blood Mountain built
by the CCC’s in the 1930’s. It has many running streams throughout the
park, beautiful lake, beach, outdoor gym, putput golf, playground, and
ball field. Lots of Cabin rentals and tent camping. Legend has it a
fierce battle took place between the Creek and Cherokee nations above
the park. The Battle lasted so long the streams at the foot of the
mountains ran red with blood. (Hence the name Blood Mountain).

Unicoi State Park, Helen, Georgia
A very Beautiful State Park, five minutes from (Little German Town)
Helen, Georgia.Unicoi is one of Georgia’s most beloved state parks.
Enjoy miles and miles of biking and hiking on scenic mountain trails,
especially those leading to Helen and Anna Ruby Falls. Beautiful lake
with beach and lots of unique cabin rentals. The bridge in the video
with my wife and Black Lab posing on is the (Kissing Bridge) it is where
Burt Reynolds kissed Sally Fields in the movie Smokey and the Bandit.
The Park was large and clean and the Staff was very friendly and
helpful. This Park will definitely be one of our go to places again.

Tallulah Gorge State Park,Tallulah, Georgia
WOW!!!! What beautiful scenery in North Georgia. Camped at the Tallulah
Gorge State Park and visited the north rim of the Tallulah Gorge. Look
close on the river and you might recognize some of the river scenes
where they filmed the movie Deliverance starting Burt Reynolds.
Beautiful scenery well worth the time.

On our Journey through Colorado we ended up in New Mexico at the

Campground within 100 yards from the banks of the San Juan River with
water and electric at 14 dollars a night you can’t go wrong. 7 dollars
per night if your over 65 or a veteran. The San Juan is known as
probably one of the best Trout Streams in the USA. In this video you

a Swedish Fire Torch. We hope you like the video. Thanks for Watching.
Part 2 we will be showing you lots more of the river and 2 to 3 thousand
year old Petroglyphs.
Here’s something you don’t see everyday.
During our recent travel through Colorado we ran across one of these. Looks like it’s still in operation. Montrose, Colorado.

Silverton, Colorado, Steam Engine Locomotive arrives with guest from Durango, Colorado
While camping in Ouray Colorado we did a day trip across the Million Dollar Highway to the town of Silverton Colorado.
In this video we will be taking you to Silverton, Colorado an Old Wild West Mining Town, population 629 in 2013. Silverton is one of the highest towns in the United States, at 9,318 feet (2,836 m) above sea level. ( Silver by the Ton ) Silverton supposedly got it’s name from hauling Tons of Silver from the mines around it.
First you will see the Old Narrow Gauge Railroad, Steam Engine arriving with guest from Durango, Colorado.
Then we will take you inside the Old Jail which is a museum now. I love visiting Old Jails and Prisons but there kind of Creepy to me. Message me and let me know if you feel the same.
Then we will take you on one of the best underground mining tours, which is now a Museum that you have ever seen. Two thumbs up for the town of Silverton and everyone else involved for doing such a great job at preserving the History.
