Had a great time camping at the beautiful Lake Pleasant Regional
Park-Maricopa County, Arizona. A well designed Park with lots of room
and plenty of hiking trails. Heard wild donkeys, coyotes and even had a
nice looking skunk visit our camp site. 30 and 50 amp sites with water
and dump station. Very nice roads and covered picnic tables and clean
restrooms. Even had Dry Camping area. Lake Pleasant is the largest lake
in the Phoenix and Scottsdale area. Its
pristine waters cover over 10,000 acres of water surface with 116 miles
of shoreline. The average depth is 70- feet and the deepest point of 260
feet is at the dam. Located only 35 miles from downtown Phoenix. We
will definitely be staying there again.

Camped out at the beautiful and well designed Homolovi State Park in
Winslow Arizona. Well maintained Streets, Camping sites with picnic
tables fire ring and barque grills and Bath House. 50 amp service and
water but the water was turned off this time of year. They did have good
drinking water up close to the dump station. Can take any size rig.
Don’t expect to see a lot of trees as it is in the Dessert. Also
Homolovi State Park is a state park of Arizona, USA, preserving over 300
Ancestral Puebloan archaeological sites. Homolovi or Homol’ovi is a
Hopi word meaning “place of the little hills”. It was occupied between
1330 and 1400 AD.
Took a little tour over to Winslow Arizona. The name speaks for it self.
