Camped at Homolovi State Park, Arizona in Winslow Arizona
Camped out at the beautiful and well designed Homolovi State Park in
Winslow Arizona. Well maintained Streets, Camping sites with picnic
tables fire ring and barque grills and Bath House. 50 amp service and
water but the water was turned off this time of year. They did have good
drinking water up close to the dump station. Can take any size rig.
Don’t expect to see a lot of trees as it is in the Dessert. Also
Homolovi State Park is a state park of Arizona, USA, preserving over 300
Ancestral Puebloan archaeological sites. Homolovi or Homol’ovi is a
Hopi word meaning “place of the little hills”. It was occupied between
1330 and 1400 AD.
Took a little tour over to Winslow Arizona. The name speaks for it self.
