The Journey Continue’s at Indian Springs State Park Georgia

Traveling through Georgia our Journey brings us to Indian Springs State Park. It’s about half way between Macon and Atlanta and to date one of our favorites. It was a rainy week but still a good week for camping. Any weeks of camping is better then any weeks setting at home watching TV. This is our second time of staying here and loved it each time. The lake you see in some of the pictures is a beautiful lake but unfortunately is being drained at this time for structural work on a flood gate. You will see that there is still quiet a bit of color left on some of the trees which looks awesome compared to all green and no seasons change down in South Florida where we come from.
Don’t forget to click on the pictures to enlarge.
Dried up lake in the back ground.
Beautiful Fall color left for us to enjoy.
Beautiful Camp Sites.
Our Spot over looking the lake.
Moss growing on the trees.
A squirrel taking advantage of the afternoon Sun.
Zack enjoying the good weather along with the Squirrel
Me, just making another one of my Rustic Pipes.
Ahhh,What a nice smoking pipe it is:)
