Nebo Loop National Scenic Byway
Join us on a road trip through the Nebo Loop Scenic Byway.
For 37 miles the Nebo Loop Scenic Byway winds through the southern end
of the Wasatch Range, between Nephi and Payson Utah, rising to a high
point of 9,345 feet and affording excellent views of the steep, wooded
surroundings, dominated by 11,929 foot Mount Nebo, the tallest summit in
the range.
Mount Nebo is the southernmost and highest mountain in the Wasatch Range
of Utah, in the United States. Named after the biblical Mount Nebo
overlooking Israel, which is said to be the place of Moses’ death, it is
the centerpiece of the Mount Nebo Wilderness, inside the Uinta National
Forest.

Excellent location for Boondockers or Dry Camping.
